Launch of Slaten Lehman Site

After a month of hard work, meetings and more the site is finally live. This is the first site I have administrated 2 parallel blogs. The challenges were to parallel the 2 blogs and multiple RSS feeds to multiple pages. The site is very dynamic in that it updates itself via RSS and aggregates information cross blogs and pages outside of the blogging engine. Advanced maintenance is still required because of the weekly changes given by marketers. Kevin and Rick

Time Management

In the corporate world there is a delicate balance between priority items and items that progress your creativity and skill. I am currently juggling 3 concurrent projects that all have to do with the same technology. These projects are all centered around Flash video, and one incorporates RSS and MP3 playback. I am developing a desktop application that will syndicate our daily TV and Radio broadcasts, but also includes RSS feeds from various portions of our site.

The dilemma is that I would like to finish developing this application for the company and for my own personal achievements, but I have to finish the other priority items…

well, it has been a week since I actually started this post and I am glad to say the RIA (Rich Interactive Application) was priority… where was I going with this.
